JEFF STONE / lead minister
When invited to lead Batesville Christian Church, Jeff felt called to combine his years of solid ministry experience with the potential that exists at BCC, to make an eternal impact on Batesville and the surrounding areas. He works to communicate God’s message with stories, humor, and clarity.
Jeff, a graduate of Oak Hills High School and Cincinnati Christian University, is married to his college sweetheart and they have three grown children and three grandchildren. He enjoys Saddlebred horses, watching sports, being outdoors, and music.
Jeff loves to watch the “life change” that people undergo as they discover God's grace and begin to grow closer to the Lord. That never gets old and it drives Jeff daily in his conversations with all he encounters.

Justin Sutherland / Worship & Student Minister
Justin grew up and lived most of his life in Columbia, Missouri – Home of the MIZZOU Tigers. He and his wife, Carli, met at Johnson University where they served together in the Student Government Association. They were married in July 2020.
Justin has a high passion for youth ministry and helping others take their next step of faith, whatever it may be! You’ll probably see him if you stop by Liberty Park after work playing a round on the disc golf course.

BRITTANY KURTZ / Children's Director & office aSSISTANT
Beginning as a Children's Youth Group volunteer at Batesville Christian Church, Brittany fell in love with Children's Ministry and felt eager to rise to the calling of leading as Children's Director and supporting as an Office Assistant.
Brittany and her husband, Tom, both grew up in Batesville and are happy to be raising their four children here. In her spare time, you'll find her enjoying sports activities with her family, exploring outdoors, or walking her beloved Poodle, Asti "the goodest boy ever."
