Midweek Update

November 17, 2021

A Message from Jeff...

Are You Ready for this Sunday?

During the month of November we're focusing on becoming "Rich Toward God." We've been challenged to pray, "Lord, how much would You have me give to You through Your work at BCC in 2022?" Let God guide you to a step of faith that will stretch you and forge a reliance on Him to provide.

This Sunday, at the close of both worship services, we will be making our Faith Promise Commitments for 2022. You do not sign your name to the card. This is a personal matter between you and the Lord. I'm looking forward to an inspiring conclusion to a great morning as we walk forward with our cards in a collective act of worship.

Those worshipping online or out of town this Sunday are invited to participate and mail in their 2022 Faith Promise Commitments (BCC, 1294 Columbus Ave., Batesville, IN 47006).

Love,

Jeff

Announcements & Upcoming Events

So Loved Christmas

We still have 53 foster kids in need of Christmas presents. Please consider taking a name or donating money toward the cause. You can pick up a name from the trees in the lobby at church or contact Laura Cole by email or by phone at (812) 363-5959 for a name and information.

Pictorial Directory Submissions

We would like to have as many families/individuals listed in our new pictorial directory, as possible. If you were unable to attend the photo session, you still have time to submit your own photo. We will not assume that you want to be in the directory, please email the office with your updated information for publication. We would like to have your photo, address, email address, and phone number(s) you want to be listed. This is a great way for our church family to become familiar with one another by face/name recognition. All information is due by November 28. This date has been extended by the directory publishing company.

Mark your Calendar
November 28, Mitch McVicker will be in concert at BCC at 6:00 p.m. Mitch began his music career alongside the late Rich Mullins. Missionary Encouragement

Throughout the month of November, there will be boxes in the hall to place cards/letters of encouragement for four of the missionaries we support through our giving at BCC. There are coloring pages for kids to pick up, color, and place in the boxes as well. We want to be encouragers to those serving in the missionary field.

Student Ministry

Youth Group for students grades 6-12 will meet the first and third Wednesday of each month for a time of fellowship around a meal, games, and growth through encountering God's Word. We will meet in the fellowship hall during this time, but may move throughout the building. We will begin at 5:00 p.m. and finish at 6:30 p.m.

Remind Text Service is the main source of communication for our Student Ministry. This free text alert system is simple to sign up for. Text the code @youthbcc to the number 81010 to join. This will give reminders of upcoming events, deadlines, and possible spontaneous outings. If ever you have questions about the texts, you can message back and they will be answered in their own private conversation.
