This Week's Announcements

Discussion With The Elders
Do you have questions or concerns about the recent staffing changes at BCC? The Elders will provide time for individual discussion next Wednesday, Aug. 19th, from 7-8 PM at the church building. If you would like to have a discussion on the topic before this time, please reach out to the elders via email, or contact the church office to request a phone call with Chris Campbell, Vern Hackworth, Chris Lehman, Kip Main, or Jack Schiller.

In-Person Worship at 9:30 AM at Liberty Park
For the remainder of August, our in-person worship will be at 9:30 AM at Liberty Park Pavillion. This Sunday, August 16th, DJ Butcher, formerly of First Christian Church in Columbus, IN, will be preaching. To learn a little more about DJ, see below. Please bring your own chair and drinks to service. We will be holding Children's Ministry once again for children ages 3+ and potty trained (sorry, no nursery will be provided).

DJ grew up in sunny southwest Florida but made his way up to Knoxville, Tennessee, where he graduated from Johnson University. From Tennessee he made his way to Central Indiana where he met his wife, Carrie, who is an emergency department nurse in Seymour, IN. DJ and Carrie have been living in Columbus, IN, for the last 7 years and they have 3 boys: Tyler, age 11; Andrew, age 8; and Owen, age 3.

Children's Ministry
This month, we will once again be offering Children's Programming during service at 9:30 AM at Liberty Park. Please bring a beach towel for each child ages 3+ and potty trained. Please, if you or your child are feeling ill or have been exposed to COVID-19, we request that you stay home. We continue offering online programming each week. Here is Sunday’s Discovery Club Lesson online.

The funding of this ministry is through BCC's annual budget and designated gifts to our Benevolence Fund. This year's team members are: Paul Ehrman (Deacon), Doug Haldeman (Deacon), Jeremy Ziegler (Deacon), and Vern Hackworth (Elder). An application is also available on our website here.

Free RightNow Media Access
Did you know you have access to an extensive Christian video library called RightNow Media? It's like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and it has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV. RightNow Media has videos for everyone -- kids, youth, parents, married couples, college students, single adults, working professionals -- all aimed at helping you grow. Contact the church office to request an invitation email for access today!
