Mark Bond is currently serving as the Interim Lead Minister while the congregation is in the process of selecting their next leader.  You may read more about our Lead Pastor Transition here.

Mark Bond, Interim Lead MinisterDiscipleship

Mark, his wife Rachel, and their children Ruthy, Moriah and Javan moved to Batesville in May of 2014.  Mark and Rachel are both graduates from Central Christian College of the Bible and have been partners in ministry for nearly 20 years.  They have been foster parents since 2012 and adopted their son Kayden in 2018. Mark’s heart beats to see others truly experience the freedom that Christ offers and to respond in the pursuit of a genuine relationship with Him through discipleship. Mark enjoys taking in a baseball game in any ballpark and is especially fond of the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, he enjoys time with his family, laughing with his wife and kids, and throwing a fishing line in the water with them all.  You may contact Mark Bond here.

Mark Jacobs, Interim Minister of Discipleship (MS - Adult)

Mark, his wife Jennifer, and kids Greg, Maria, and Anne moved to the Milan area in 2016. Mark graduated from Cincinnati Bible College in 1999 with a 4 year degree in preaching. His passion is disciple making, leading leaders, and helping to strengthen the Church in her mission to reach the lost with the good news of Christ. Jennifer Lawson, Administrative Assistant

Jennifer has recently moved back to Batesville with her two children, Jack and Kayla, after living in Dayton, OH for the past 3 years. The family were previous members of the BCC family before their move to Ohio.  Jennifer is a graduate of Ivy Tech with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Administration and completed the Business Cohort Program at IU-East in Lawrenceburg. Jennifer is 3 classes away from earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from IU-East.  Jennifer is passionate about helping people and supporting the church, our office, and congregation members. She loves using technology to improve processes and increase efficiency. Her hobbies and interests include art, architecture, photography, cooking, and spending time with her children & family.  You may contact Jennifer Lawson here.
